I WANT PEACE - new EP out now!

"I Want Peace" is a statement as powerful as it is simple, and as urgent as ever in a time of increasing wars around the world. But Cologne-based German-Peruvian artist Inti means business and underlines his determination with four powerful songs in his upcoming EP, reflecting both on global conflict and the struggle to protect one's inner peace.

Released as a waterfall rollout from April 17th to June 26th, the EP touches on various issues we are facing on the way to achieving justice — and maybe, eventually, peace.

The opener "When This A Go End" sets the tone with a cinematic, almost symphonic intro, carrying Inti's desperate plea for an end to violence and destruction. "Open Your Eyes" follows with a rougher, more direct energy — alerting the listener to systemic injustice and calling for equal rights.

On "Boundaries", a feature with Berlin-based artist (and the EP's producer) Jon Moon, the mood shifts. Built on an uplifting steppas riddim, the track is both grounding and reaffirming, reminding us of the importance of setting boundaries in order to protect our own space and peace of mind.

Then it's time for another reality check: "I Need Money" featuring Tóke makes things as clear as can be: We all need money to survive in this world. Even the most talented and dedicated artists are often caught between their passion and the pressure of making a living in a system that doesn't leave enough room for it. The EP closes the circle with a dub version of "When This A Go End", stripped back and reimagined, letting the core message resonate in a different way.

At the heart of "I Want Peace" lies a clear idea: peace cannot be forced. Whether on a personal level or in a global context — invading someone else's space will never lead to it.

Developed over time through close collaboration with Jon Moon, this body of work feels like a natural next step for Inti, in a moment where his voice, message and direction come together with clarity.

"I Want Peace" is now available in all online stores and on Bandcamp.

WHEN THIS A GO END

The first single of Inti's new project is setting the tone of the EP with a cinematic, almost symphonic intro that builds into a roots-driven reggae track.  Lyrically it reflects on ongoing global conflict and carries a clear message calling for an end to violence and destruction.

"When This A Go End" is the first collaboration of Inti with Jon Moon, the EPs producer, and combines both their strengths: Inti's remarkable voice and performance and Jon Moon's organic, almost orchestral, full sound.

OPEN YOUR EYES

“Open Your Eyes” is the second single from Inti’s brand new EP “I Want Peace”, taking a direct and energetic approach with a gritty reggae production. Lyrically, the track focuses on systemic injustice and calls for awareness in the face of social and political realities.

With its driving rhythm and confrontational tone, it represents a more urgent side of the EP, while staying rooted in conscious reggae and authentic expression.

BOUNDARIES ft. Jon Moon

“Boundaries” is the third single from Inti’s powerful EP “I Want Peace”, created in collaboration with Berlin-based artist Jon Moon. Built on an uplifting steppas-inspired reggae riddim, the track focuses on the importance of setting personal boundaries and protecting one’s inner peace.

Blending introspection with positive energy, it adds a grounding and reaffirming perspective to the EP’s overall narrative.

I NEED MONEY ft. Tóke

“I Need Money” featuring Tóke is the final single leading up to Inti’s EP “I Want Peace”. The track addresses the reality of survival as an artist, highlighting the tension between creative passion and financial pressure in today’s world.

Combining a grounded reggae production with honest and relatable lyrics, it brings a raw and realistic perspective to the EP’s themes of struggle, resilience and self-determination.

Inti Ayvar Waltz x Tóke

“I Need Money” is the result of an unforgettable studio night: Inti, Tóke & Jon Moon were chilling in Planet Earth Studio's kitchen in Berlin, collecting ideas and writing, when Josi "BigFinga" Coppola also showed up and joined them for a bit. He quickly brought out an old riddim idea he had recorded years ago. On bass Toots' son Hopeton Hibbert, BigFinga on Drums & Guitar, and Frank "Pollensi" Pollak on Keys & Organ, the riddim certainly had a deep foundation and immediately inspired the younger artists. While Inti & Tóke started writing lyrics and melodies right away, Jon Moon immediately took to it and started arranging the riddim. The b-part was removed, they added a few sounds and instruments and recorded vocals that same night.

It makes sense though and feels as if a song like this needed to come to being like this: From a place of urgency and instinct, direct and uncompromising. The process of this song's production pretty much sums up the urgency of the tune: no time to be wasted, when "I need money"!
